Earlier last week, I stumbled upon a sale of discontinued Gibson ES style guitars and thought I'd get myself one of the Fat Neck 335s. A 335 was the first electric guitar I had way back in 1972. I sold that guitar like a dumbass because I needed the money around '95. Anyway, I've been toying with the idea of getting another one for a long time now. Then I saw the ad. So, I jumped on it. The guitar arrived on Friday (free overnight shipping) and when I opened the case, this is what awaited me:
